We are partnered with an established cybersecurity firm launching a high-impact, greenfield cloud product.
We are hiring their
first dedicated DevOps/SRE hire
to bridge the gap between application code and infrastructure. This isn't a "maintenance" role; you will be the architect of their SaaS framework, defining the tool-belt that our engineering team will use to scale.
Key Objectives:
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Design and implement the framework (Terraform/Pulumi/CloudFormation) that defines our cloud presence.
* Engineering Enablement:
Shift-left by providing the engineering team with the tools to manage their own deployments, observability, and reliability.
* SaaS Evolution:
Transition our core specialised security tooling from traditional delivery to a robust, high-availability SaaS model.
* Security-First Culture:
As a cybersecurity company, "good enough" isn't an option. You will bake security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline from day one.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience:
3+ years in a dedicated SRE or DevOps capacity.
* Java Fluency:
You understand the nuances of the Java ecosystem and how to optimize it for the cloud.
* Cloud:
Proficient with AWS.
* Autonomy:
You are comfortable being the sole expert in "the room" for infrastructure and aren't afraid to make high-stakes architectural decisions.
This role is about building the foundation for a specialized cybersecurity platform from the ground up. You aren't just an operator; you are the architect of our delivery engine.
