Production Shift Manager: A Key Role in Driving Operational Excellence
The Production Shift Manager is responsible for leading the shift team to achieve production targets and maintain the highest standards of product quality, integrity, and hygiene.
Maintaining excellent standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Housekeeping Practice is essential for ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
* Lead the shift team to achieve production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Ensure the highest standards of product quality, integrity, and hygiene are maintained at all times
* Maintain excellent standards of GMP and good housekeeping practice to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
* Monitor and control costs to optimize resource utilization
* Ensure the safe working practices and conduct of the team, contractors, and visitors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a management/supervisory role in the food manufacturing industry
* A third-level qualification in a related field is desirable
* SAP/MES/Scada experience is highly desirable
