Job Title: System Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Expertise:
* Provide end-to-end technical support for all IT infrastructure and hardware.
* Deploy and manage devices via cloud platforms, including Microsoft Intune and Azure AD.
* Implement and oversee endpoint security solutions to prevent cyber threats.
* Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and warranty statuses.
2. Network Architecture & Administration:
* Design, implement, and manage secure and high-performance network infrastructure.
* Configure and administer firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
* Set up and maintain VLANs, subnetting, and network segmentation policies to ensure secure multi-department environments.
* Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability.
* Document network configurations, firewall rules, and access control policies.
3. System & Cloud Application Management:
* Administer business applications, including user access provisioning, role configuration, and system integrations.
* Manage cloud environments, including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange, to enhance collaboration and productivity.
* Oversee group management, license assignment, and permissions in Azure AD and Microsoft Graph API.
4. Automation, Monitoring & Support Operations:
* Leverage automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.
* Use monitoring software to track device performance and handle ticketing efficiently.
* Improve IT service delivery through ticket tracking, response analysis, and reporting.
* Troubleshoot across software, hardware, cloud services, and network environments to provide timely resolutions.
5. Security & Compliance:
* Maintain industry-standard security practices and adhere to ISO/IEC compliance requirements.
* Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
* Develop and implement corrective actions and internal controls to address security vulnerabilities.
* Support the development of IT policies and procedures aligned with contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations.
6. IT Governance:
* Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including security policies, remote access standards, disaster recovery plans, and acceptable use guidelines.
* Collaborate with external vendors to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.
