Duty Manager Job Role
We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager with excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
* To be aware of the level of business expected on the site and ensure delivery of exceptional guest services.
* Guests are to be greeted in a warm and courteous fashion at all times and you will be responsible for ensuring that queries are addressed in a friendly and efficient manner.
Site Operations Management
* To supervise, manage, and assist in the daily operation of retail shop areas ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised. Implement and maintain the highest standard operation procedures for all service areas.
* To liaise with departmental managers/site management regarding all operational issues.
Hygiene and Equipment Standards
* To ensure a high level of hygiene is implemented throughout the site at all times, with a strict cleaning schedule in operation and regular monitoring/recording of the same.
* To ensure all equipment on the site is up to required standard and not abused, by supervising and reacting to issues as they arise.
Staff Supervision and Support
* To supervise all staff rostered to work and ensure that they are present in full clean and tidy uniform as per company standards.
* To record staff lateness/sickness as per company procedure and report it to the relevant department manager.
Additional Responsibilities
* To supervise, manage, and assist in the daily operation of all service areas ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised. Implement and maintain the highest standard operation procedures for all service areas.
* To be involved in stock takes which are carried out or to carry out stock takes.
Health and Safety
* In case of an emergency situation, you must ensure the safety of staff, customers, and any other person on the premises.
* You will be required to carry out emergency procedures as per the case arisen.
