The Lead Test Java Engineer will play a crucial part in a technical test lead role to help drive Quality and to build and implement test approaches, automation improvements and monitoring earlier in the development cycle. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with development teams to enhance existing software development processes, partner with developers to improve and automate test and release processes, and help make Quality an integral part of the development process. The Lead Test Java Engineer will also write code to do unit testing, integration testing, functional and regression testing.
Must Have Skills
5. Advanced experience in core Java programming Java, SPRING framework including Spring Boot, and the ability to provide technical leadership to members of the staff.
6. Selenium WebDriver, RESTful services/Rest Assured, JSON and XML.
7. Unit test frameworks such as Junit/Mockito
8. Experienced with GIT
9. Testing frameworks such as TestNG and Spock
10. Ability to create acceptance and integration automation tests, integrate with continuous integration (Jenkins/Bamboo) and code coverage tools (Sonar).
11. Experience cloud-based applications.
12. SQL (Oracle DB)
13. Intermediate knowledge and skills in test fundamentals and methodologies, ideally ISTQB or ASTQB qualified
14. Strong communication skills – both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organizational skills.
15. Experience working in Agile Methodology.
16. Experience of working with other developers providing guidance to ensure that systems are designed for reliability, performance, and testability.
17. Availability: Ready to start on August 1st.
