Supporting Adults towards Independent Living
We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team in delivering person-centred care that empowers adults with disabilities and support needs to live ordinary lives.
* We will be supporting individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to achieve their goals and aspirations.
* Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to provide effective care solutions that transform lives.
* We develop individualised plans to meet the ongoing needs of our service users, ensuring they receive tailored support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To support individuals with disabilities and support needs to live an independent life by providing personal care assistance and promoting community integration.
2. To work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each service user.
3. To develop and implement individualised plans to address the ongoing needs of service users, including those with complex or multiple needs.
4. To communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a minimum of a Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
* Have at least 1 year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of legislation protecting vulnerable adults.
* Possess a full manual driver's license and have access to a car for this role.
* Be proficient in using relevant IT skills, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
