Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production / Manufacturing General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and supporting production machinery and equipment, as well as completing tasks such as assembly, packing, sanding, labelling, and quality checks.
The role requires the ability to work towards daily production targets, follow onsite health & safety and quality procedures, and support team members as required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating and supporting production machinery and equipment
* Completing tasks such as assembly, packing, sanding, labelling, and quality checks
* Working towards daily production targets
* FOLLOWING all onsite health & safety and quality procedures
* Supporting team members and adapting to different roles as required
* Carrying out manual handling duties including loading/unloading when needed
Requirements for the role include:
* A valid Manual Handling certificate
* Minimum 6 months experience in production/manufacturing general operative roles
* Experience working in busy or target-driven environments
* A full driving licence is essential due to the location
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
* Fluent English with strong communication skills
* Excellent reliability, time management, and organisational skills
