Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor with a background in structural steel or fabrication?
Our client — a well-established and rapidly growing specialist in steel fabrication — is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key commercial figure in the delivery of high-profile industrial, infrastructure, and commercial projects across Ireland.

Known for their quality, innovation, and reliability, they are now scaling operations and looking for a skilled QS to help steer project success.
Responsibilities
Lead commercial management of multiple projects from tender through to final account
Preparation and negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, and variations
Cost planning, forecasting, and control throughout the project lifecycle
Risk identification and value engineering
Interface with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure cost-effective project delivery
Preparation of monthly valuations and cash flow forecasts
Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team
Qualifications
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally 5+ years
Background in steel fabrication, structural steelwork, or heavy civils is essential
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (RICS membership desirable)
Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills
Proficient in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, or similar)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
