The Role We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Apprentice to join our rapidly expending Hyundai sales team in Waterford City.
This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in automotive sales while earning and learning on the job.
You will receive structured training, mentoring from experienced sales professionals, and real-world experience in vehicle sales, customer service, and dealership operations.
Key Responsibilities Assist the sales team with day-to-day showroom operations Welcome customers and provide a professional first point of contact Learn to identify customer needs and present suitable vehicle options Support sales executives during vehicle demonstrations and test drives Maintain accurate customer records and assist with follow-ups Learn about Hyundai products, finance options, and aftersales services Ensure the showroom and vehicle displays are kept to a high standard Adhere to company processes, compliance, and customer service standards Training Development On-the-job training with experienced sales professionals Ongoing product and manufacturer training with Hyundai Opportunity to progress into a full Sales Executive role upon successful completion What We're Looking For A strong interest in sales and the motor industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude Willingness to learn and develop new skills Basic IT skills and confidence using systems Full clean driving licence is essential.
