This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a wide range of asset classes traded by hedge fundsResponsibilitiesYour Role:You will provide leadership and guidance to product management teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the growth and scalability of property and construction accounting products.Engage with key stakeholders, including senior executives and clients, to align product vision with business objectives.Negotiate and monitor compliance of SLAs with clients and/or other Citco officesLiaise and collaborate with various other Citco departments such as Reconciliations, Client Integration, Market Data, Application Support, other local/global senior managementRepresent Citco competently to external parties such as existing and potential hedge fund clients, their board of directors, Valuation Committees and their existing and potential investorsReview completed work, arrange training, provide guidance/support, and prepare/conduct effective performance appraisals for employeesSupport the conversion of any new clients or migration of existing clients from other officesTake a lead role in projects/systems implementations and work flowsRun pricing models to independently value derivatives held by our hedge fund clientsAnalyze and compare derivative position's valuations, inputs and models. Research OTC pricing exceptions and variances. Work with clients and act as an escalation point for other team members to resolve price challenges, answer valuation questionsUnderstand current financial models in use and provide one-off modeling needsReview fund Valuation PoliciesUnderstand the basics of industry/accounting guidance (e.g. FAS157) and assist with incorporation into pricing processesReview of client Level 3 asset valuations and methodologiesResearch markets, conventions and reporting standardsQualificationsAbout You:Degree Qualified (2.1 and above) in Engineering/Math/Physics/Finance/Economics from a top universityCFA, MBA, Master in Finance or similar designations a plusQuantitative skills including basic calculus, statistics and financial mathMinimum of 5-7 yrs experience in a similar roleMust have worked in one of these fields: Derivative valuation, Risk Management, Quantitative research, Financial engineering, OTC TradingExperience interacting with senior management and groups up to and including Board levelPrior experience of managing a team a plusShould have a keen interest in financial instruments, markets, derivatives valuation, financial engineering, risk management.Strong in excel, must be tech savvy - Excel VBA, SQLProgramming experience beneficialUnderstanding fundamentals of risk analysisOur BenefitsYour well being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
