What You'll Do
As a Trade Finance Application Support Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of mission-critical trade finance systems. Your day-to-day activities will involve troubleshooting user issues, managing incidents through industry-standard tools, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments, and driving improvements in application reliability. You will also contribute to project work alongside QA teams, support vendor management efforts, participate in disaster recovery planning, and provide technical expertise in SQL-based reporting. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance or a related field is required for this position.
* At least five years of experience in application support within financial institutions is essential, with three years specifically supporting trade finance applications such as Eximbills.
* A strong understanding of syndications, agency processes, loan trading mechanisms, as well as interest and fee calculations is necessary.
* Familiarity with ITIL processes and proficiency in using tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA are important for effective incident management.
* Excellent communication skills are vital for stakeholder management across business units and technology teams.
* Proven problem-solving abilities enable you to address complex technical challenges efficiently while maintaining service quality.
* Ability to thrive in regulated environments with on-call responsibilities showcases your dependability under pressure.
* Experience with Eximbills or similar trade finance core systems is highly desirable but not mandatory.
* Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements adds value when supporting business-critical applications.
