Key Procurement Position Available:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead sourcing events, negotiate supply and service agreements, manage commercial discussions, and build strong vendor relationships. The Senior Procurement Associate will be responsible for coordinating key procurement activities, establishing supplier relationships, and managing day-to-day strategic and operational procurement functions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, as well as proven experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing procurement role. They should also possess demonstrated experience in negotiating and drafting supplies and services contracts, with a preference for previous SAP and/or Ariba experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the procurement of supplies and services to minimize risk and costs.
* Prepare and negotiate agreements and contracts with suppliers to ensure alignment with global procurement strategies.
* Responsible for RFI/RFP/RFQs in indirect and local capital procurement areas.
* Drive negotiation and implementation of outsourced agreements and participate in post-implementation governance activities.
* Establish and manage relationships with local site suppliers, including negotiations, while integrating global suppliers into the site's supply chain.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing procurement role.
* Demonstrated experience in negotiating and drafting supplies and services contracts.
* Previous SAP and/or Ariba experience is preferred.
* Strong teamwork, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated learning agility and ability/willingness to adapt to continual change within a dynamic environment.
