We are seeking a seasoned Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems. This role is integral to projects like power plants, substations, transmission networks, and renewable energy installations.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the power sector, particularly with HV systems commissioning. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the commissioning of HV equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear.
* Develop detailed commissioning schedules, ensuring seamless coordination with contractors, engineers, and suppliers.
* Direct and align commissioning teams to meet project objectives.
Technical Management:
* Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
* Oversee performance tests to validate HV system functionality.
* Document commissioning activities and test results comprehensively.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
* Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a secure working environment.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement safety measures.
* Train team members on HV safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE.
Quality Control and Documentation:
* Ensure all commissioning activities meet or exceed quality standards.
* Maintain comprehensive records of tests, activities, and compliance measures.
* Validate systems against regulatory requirements prior to handover.
Post-Commissioning Activities:
* Manage the transition of systems to operational teams.
* Provide operational training to clients to ensure smooth system handover.
* Develop and deliver maintenance guidelines for HV systems.
