HSE Manager Job Description
This is a full-time permanent position as an HSE Manager for a company with a growing and successful business.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with legal requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.
* Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting, ensuring timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
* Provide expert HSE advice and support to project teams during all phases of Data Centre projects across multiple European locations.
* Closely collaborate with HSE officers, operation teams, client representatives, and subcontractors to embed safe working practices and environmental stewardship into daily operations.
* Drive HSE training and awareness programs to build competency and engagement across all teams.
* Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, ensuring transparency and effective communication with senior management and stakeholders.
* Facilitate client HSE audits and site visits, acting as the primary point of contact for all health, safety, and environmental matters.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience as an HSE Manager or similar role within construction, mechanical, electrical, or data centre sectors.
* Strong knowledge of European health, safety, and environmental legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
* Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or International Diploma and equivalent environmental qualifications.
