We know our people are our greatest asset and our success is down to the commitment and dedication of our team.What You'll DoComplianceSupport the Director of Legal & Compliance in the development of schedule of responsibilities to ensure compliant internal and external corporate governanceAudit the compliance monitoring system to ensure complianceWork with our international colleagues to manage compliance tasksContract LawDraft, review, advise on and administer a broad range of standard and non-standard contractsSupport contract negotiations as well as contract creation and checkingCreate sample contracts for various contractual scenarios and business functionsInterdepartmental coordination of contract administration incl. recording of contracts on the company's contract management databaseCompany LawAdminister, maintain, review and update relevant registrations and records applicable to Lidl under company lawData ProtectionSupport the Data Protection team in advices and projects relating to data protection matters affecting the businessGeneral Legal ServicesProvide timely, sound legal advice to various business units on a range of legal queries including but not limited to competition law, advertising law, commercial property law, trademark law, H&S and employment law, anti-corruption/anti-bribery legislationMonitor legislative changes and relevant case law and update affected business areas on these changes and developmentsLiaise with external legal advisers and legal firms.
