Role Overview
The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for defining and executing the end‑to‑end supply chain strategy, ensuring efficient, resilient, and cost‑effective operations across procurement, planning, manufacturing support, logistics, and inventory management. This role plays a key part in supporting business growth, improving service levels, and mitigating supply chain risk while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a robust supply chain strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
* Lead, mentor, and develop multi‑disciplinary supply chain teams across procurement, planning, logistics, and distribution.
* Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision‑making.
* Oversee demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and service performance.
* Drive improvements in S&OP / IBP processes to align commercial demand with operational capacity.
* Ensure operational scalability to support growth, new product introductions, and market expansion.
* Own sourcing strategies, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
* Build strong strategic partnerships with key suppliers while managing cost, quality, and delivery performance.
* Manage inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks.
* Optimize transportation, warehousing footprints, and 3PL relationships to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
* Ensure compliance with customs, trade regulations, and sustainability requirements.
* Own supply chain budgets, cost‑reduction initiatives, and KPI performance (OTIF, inventory turns, cost‑to‑serve, etc.).
* Build resilient supply chains with clear risk mitigation and business continuity plans.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven senior leadership experience within supply chain, operations, or logistics (Head of, Director, or equivalent level).
* Strong end‑to‑end supply chain knowledge (planning, procurement, logistics, inventory).
* Demonstrable success delivering cost reduction, service improvement, and operational transformation.
* Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
* Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder‑management skills.
