We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant (SEND) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience working with children with special educational needs and wish to make a positive impact in the lives of young people. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in primary schools across Lincolnshire. Your expertise will enable you to provide high-quality support and care to pupils with SEND, ensuring they receive the best possible education and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, including those with SEMH backgrounds.
* A strong understanding of child development and learning principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* DBS clearance on the Update Service or permission for us to process one at your cost.
* References covering the last two years (if you have been out of employment for over two years, you will still need to provide a previous referenceable role).
Additionally, you may be required to demonstrate confidence in personal care tasks, depending on the specific school's needs. If so, we will discuss these requirements during the recruitment process.
