The Company
An international manufacturing business is seeking to hire a recently qualified or part qualified Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. This role will be key in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial decisions within the company.
The Role
* Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to support business planning.
* Tax Compliance: Manage tax payments and ensure timely submission of tax returns in line with local regulations.
* Internal Controls: Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls and recommend improvements.
* Financial Analysis: Analyse financial trends, costs, revenues, and liabilities to provide actionable insights to management.
* General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations and month-end closings.
* Stakeholder Communication: Work with internal departments and external auditors to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
The Person
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
* Experience in financial accounting or a similar role is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
