We are looking for an experienced registered nurse (minimum 2 years post-qualification experience) to join our practice in Dublin 7 for 4.5 days per week on a long-term basis. Ideally, you will have general practice experience, or be an enthusiastic nurse who is looking for a change of career to a clinically varied role, in a supportive and friendly general practice. Our team includes GPs, nurses and administration staff and we are an appointment-based practice with excellent clinical support and training.
Candidates should have strong communication skills, a willingness to grow and develop their nursing skills and the ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. We are centrally located in Dublin 7, close to Luas and bus routes and with onsite parking. See for location.
The role includes phlebotomy, child and adult vaccinations, cervical smears, wound care, injections, chronic disease management, assisting with ante natal care, health promotion and all aspects of nursing in General Practice. Appropriate training can be provided; previous GP practice experience will be a definite advantage.
We offer a competitive salary (from €23 - €30 per hour, depending on experience) and hours may be flexible for the right candidate (4.5 days per week - Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning). 8.30am start time each morning is essential.

* Midwifery training an advantage (must be in addition to RGN training)
