We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cost control, subcontractor management, and accurate valuations of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full Cost Management: Manage the financial aspects of assigned projects from start to finish.
* Valuations: Prepare and manage valuations, interim and final accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Procurement and Subcontractor Management: Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor accounts to ensure smooth project execution.
* Cost Reporting: Produce regular cost reports to monitor budget performance and identify areas for improvement.
Additionally, you will handle payment applications and cash flow forecasts, maintain strong communication with site teams and stakeholders, and ensure contractual compliance and cost efficiency throughout the project.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a contractor or design & build firm.
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of construction contracts.
* The ability to manage subcontractors and project financials confidently.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
