Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the operation, including retail and forecourt activities, to ensure efficient service and maximum profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the site, including retail and forecourt activities.
* Ensure effective management of store operations, personnel, merchandising, local and national store marketing, and cost management.
* Assist the Site Operations manager in the daily operations of the site, with particular emphasis on all retail and forecourt operations.
* Oversee rostering for Retail and Forecourt and general management of personnel to ensure adequate cover within budgetary provisions.
* Participate in management meetings and communicate effectively with the team.
* Plan and organise all aspects of the operation to include all Fuel, Retail (Convenience Shop), together with ancillary offerings on site provided to the customer.

* Proven ability in managing diverse retail/food sites offering.
* Planning & organising ability.

* Managing performance (of all employees in Forecourt & Retail areas).
* Excellent operational knowledge of the retail environment.
* Excellent interpersonal relations.
* Excellent understanding of consumer needs.
* Proven track record in achieving agreed targets.
* Ability to get involved with the local community positively, leading to goodwill and loyalty.
* Financial skills with previous experience in budgets and profit and loss accounts.
* Working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law.
* An excellent commercial acumen with the ability to anticipate and react to market changes.
