A well-established and respected civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Civils Foreman for a large-scale residential project based in Wexford. This is a long-term opportunity, with the project just beginning and further works planned in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential groundworks and infrastructure, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record delivering civils packages to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil works, including groundworks, utilities, roads, and drainage. Manage direct labour and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. Monitor site progress, report daily activities, and attend site meetings. Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards. Interpret construction drawings and ensure works are carried out to plans. Liaise with engineers, site management, and project stakeholders. Maintain quality control and oversee inspections and testing as required. Requirements: 5+ years experience as a Civils Foreman on residential or civil engineering projects in Ireland. Strong knowledge of groundworks, road construction, and underground services. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively. Full clean driving licence.
