We are looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for identifying, attracting and securing top talent to support the organisation's growth and strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will lead full cycle recruitment processes, partner closely with hiring managers, and develop effective sourcing strategies to build strong talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct the end-to-end recruitment process for all internal and external vacancies within a designated business unit(s), ensuring timely turnaround times and a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
Source and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct sourcing
Work closely with HR Business Partners, the wider recruitment team and the business to build strong relationships and to deliver a seamless recruitment service
Coordinate with hiring managers to understand resourcing requirements and ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process
Compile regular Talent Acquisition status reports for the business
Provide input as required to Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives
Acquire and apply knowledge of ESB business and its HR processes, policies and procedures
Engage in networking activities to develop and build strong business relations in the industry
Keep updated with market trends affecting recruitment and current employment legislation and policies
Experience and Qualifications
An appropriate third level qualification in HR or equivalent work experience is essential
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment
Full life cycle recruitment experience is essential
Knowledge of HR Practice, Policies and Procedures and Employment Legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build and develop key relationships with managers and other stakeholders
Excellent planning and organisation skills with experience of working to tight deadlines
Knowledge and experience of using psychometric testing in recruitment
Expertise in utilising social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, for recruitment purposes
Experience in dealing with Work Permit processes and international recruitment
Membership of CIPD

This position will be based in 27 Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Dublin 2.
Smart Working at ESB is designed to make 'in-person' time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility.
The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week.
All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

€49,800 - €58,600 per annum (depending on experience)
