Cafe Manager Job Description
Cafe managers are responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our cafes. They lead by example and strive to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of presentation.
They oversee all aspects of cafe operations, including food preparation, cleaning schedules, and waste control. Cafe managers also develop and maintain excellent communication skills with senior management and staff members.
* Developing and implementing efficient work schedules to maximize productivity and job rotation.
* Ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards.
* Preparing and assisting with food preparation, setting up, and merchandising counters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful as a cafe manager, you will need:
* At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar environment.
* Experience managing a similar sized restaurant or corporate catering unit.
* Experience and training on HACCP and Food Safety.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work 5 days over 7.
