Roles and Responsibilities
Working remotely and/or within a team covering mainly Southern Ireland.
Attend customers' sites to complete planned and reactive works.
Be responsible for conducting services calls on commercial fuel systems / petrol forecourts.
Carry out pipework installation and modification, tank installation and decommissioning as well as tank and pipework testing.
Install / maintain and replace gauges, alarms, filters, valves, pumps and filtration equipment.
Undertake fuel quality work including sampling, uplifting, transferring and filtering of fuel.
Complete site inspections and surveys, such as oil storage regulation reports and OFTEC questionnaires.
Using our bespoke CRM system, create, manage and sign off job cards.
Understand, adhere and accept risk assessments and method statements as well as the ability to complete dynamic risk assessments.
Co-operate with line management in ensuring that personnel, contractors and visitors comply with site rules.
Work alongside your team in the development of equipment, plant and systems in order to improve safety, health, environmental and quality standards and operational efficiency.
Promote safety, health, environmental and quality awareness with personnel, contractors and visitors.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.
Report faults on plant, equipment and infrastructure and any other operational difficulties to line management team, as they occur.
Assist in the maintenance of plant.
Carry out regular training when deemed appropriate and help others with their training needs where required.
Operate company vehicles for which the post holder is suitably qualified.
Responsible for ensuring the security of all company vehicles and equipment.
Liaison with customers on site to discuss ongoing work and further services of the company.
Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner on our CRM.
Liaison with line manager regarding all works and recommending improvements or opportunities.
Responsible for cleaning all plant and equipment after jobs.

Be IT literate.
Be prepared to work away from home and stop away overnight (working away allowance).
Previous experience within the fuel industry (desirable).
Excellent customer service skills.
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised as part of a regional team.
A good understanding of health & safety requirements.
Able to solve problems both methodically and intuitively.
Valid Driver’s Licence.

Overtime over 42.5 hours.
