Commercial Manager Modular Construction A leading modular construction contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join its senior leadership team. This role will oversee the commercial function across multiple modular construction projects, managing estimating, procurement and quantity surveying teams while ensuring strong financial performance and risk management across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the commercial department including QS, estimating and procurement functions. Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance of projects. Manage contracts, procurement strategies and supply chain relationships. Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Support senior leadership with commercial strategy, reporting and business growth initiatives. Ensure projects achieve revenue, margin and cashflow targets. Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships across ongoing projects. Review bids and ensure lessons learned from tenders are captured. Requirements Level 8 Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. 10+ years commercial / quantity surveying experience within construction. Previous commercial team leadership or management experience. Strong knowledge of contracts, claims management and procurement. Experience managing supply chains and subcontractors. Strong commercial reporting and financial analysis skills. Chartered status (SCSI / RICS) desirable. Skills Excellent communication and leadership ability.
