If you're looking to join a company that celebrates its people as much as its projects, where your voice is heard, your ideas are encouraged, and your development is a shared priority, we'd love to welcome you to Errigal.About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Tax Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Team, a motivated and detail-oriented professional who will play a key role in ensuring tax compliance and supporting the continued financial strength of our organisation.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements across ROI, UK, and European jurisdictions.Prepare and file various tax returns for entities in the UK, ROI and European countries. Returns including but not limited to VAT, RCT, CIS, PAYE, PRSI, Corporation Tax and Statistical Returns (VIES, Intrastat etc.)Work with processing teams to ensure full compliance in AP and AR across all jurisdictions.Work closely with payroll and HR to optimise employment models throughout the group (UK, ROI and Europe).Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and tax provisions.Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.Assist with tax planning and optimization strategies.Provide support for finance projects and process improvements.QualificationsBA in Finance, or a related field, a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred and CTA qualified.Required SkillsProven experience in tax accounting, ideally in an industry setting.Demonstrable experience in preparing all tax returns for both ROI and UK entities.In-depth knowledge of European VAT law, including cross-border VAT compliance and risk assessment.Experience with tax compliance, filings, and audits.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.Accountantjobs#Financecareers#hiring#Joinus
