* Create and implement processes to develop and manage all aspects of the port facility operation.
* Maintain and improve automation systems, focusing on continuous development and training initiatives.
* Evaluate and enforce Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards through proactive engagement.
* Monitor industrial emissions and environmental requirements for dust monitoring, quay sweeping, and other critical activities.
* Manage contract personnel, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, and coordinate concentrate transport and shipping operations.
* Liaise with contract staff and initiate improvements and projects as needed.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in process environments, with a minimum of 5 years in automation system development and maintenance.
* Leadership skills: Proven track record of leading teams, with strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
* Process optimisation: Experience in improving production efficiency and implementing best practices.
* Project management: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Safety compliance: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and experience in maintaining a safe working environment.

Education and Technical Skills:

* Degree/Diploma in Automation or Mechatronic Engineering or similar.
* Proficiency in automation and process control systems, quality assurance, and production technologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address production issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

Travel Requirements:

* Frequent travel between the Dublin Port facility and the production operation in County Meath.
* Some international travel may be required.
