Job Opportunity:
A senior leadership position has become available in a renowned company specializing in Nutrition.
The successful candidate will oversee projects in food manufacturing, focusing on Evaporation and Spray Drying processes. Key responsibilities include promptly reporting hazards, coordinating with cross-functional departments, planning work schedules based on plant demand, supervising contractors, and supporting departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage projects in regulated food manufacturing using Evaporation and Spray Drying technologies.
* Develop and explain automated process models to the team.
* Coach and develop the technical team.
* Ensure new equipment is validated to meet QA standards.
* Prepare detailed process flows, specifications, and operating instructions.
* Monitor key variables (temperature, pressure, viscosity) during production.
* Troubleshoot process/equipment issues cross-functionally.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
* Degree in Food Process Engineering or a related field.
* 10+ years' experience in engineering, preferably in dairy/food process engineering.
* Familiarity with spray drying or evaporation is an advantage.
* Experience with thermal dairy processing desirable.
* Knowledge of powder conveying systems beneficial.
* Understanding of ATEX environments advantageous.
* Strong experience in automated pharma/food manufacturing essential.
