We are currently recruiting for Quality and Safety Administrator based in healthcare facility in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 Hours of work per week: 39 hours per week Based on Site Contract Type: Permanent, full-time Salary- €38,000- €42,000 depending on previous experience Role Summary The Quality & Safety Administrator supports a healthcare services quality improvement, compliance, and safety agenda. This includes administration of the Mental Health Act 2001, audit coordination, incident and risk management, and the implementation of regulatory and quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities Mental Health Act Administration: Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, support tribunal coordination, and provide staff guidance. Quality & Compliance: Maintain policy control systems (QPulse), support audits and inspections, and manage staff policy acknowledgments. Ensure the service remains compliant with legislation, regulatory standards, national standards and good practice in its approach to quality, risk and compliance management via appropriate monitoring systems. Risk & Incident Management: Oversee incident reporting, support risk register maintenance, and facilitate mandatory reporting. Provide administrative assistance to the Head of Quality, Risk, Compliance & Patient Administration in relation to feedback management. Assist with the trending and analysing of feedback, both positive and negative. Complaints & Feedback: Assist with feedback analysis and administrative support. Administrative Duties: Support the implementation of electronic patient records, attend relevant committees, and maintain high standards in medical records and documentation. Assist with the implementation of the new Electronic Patient Record by assisting with template creation, user login management, training for new staff Maintain medical records on in-patient units to ensure they are always neat and tidy and contain all relevant information Requirements Essential: Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare or clinical setting in a similar administrative role. Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2001, regulatory standards, and incident management. The Mental Health Commissions function and their associated quality and compliance standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare IT systems (e.g., QPulse). Desirable: Experience in a mental health environment. Relevant third-level qualification. Skills in staff training, report writing, and compliance project implementation. Core Competencies Understanding of mental health services and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence quality and safety culture.
