Hotel Executive Head Chef Role
The successful candidate will lead a highly skilled kitchen team in a leading establishment.
Main Responsibilities:
* E nsure effective communication within the kitchen team and across all other members of the hotel team.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all food operations.
* Ensure staff are appropriately trained to deliver required food standards.
* Perform performance reviews for the kitchen team.
* Implement applicable policies and procedures.
* Assist with recruiting and training new kitchen team members.
* Create strategies to drive engagement among chefs.
* Hold bi-annual workshops for sous, junior sous, and chef de parties to develop skills and share ideas.
* Train and supervise in menu planning, ordering, rota compilation, and menu costing.
* Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and colleagues in other departments.
* Ensure sound HACCP procedures are in place and working in all kitchens.
* Achieve desired business results.
* Manage stock levels effectively.
