PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Through the delivery of the HR Value Proposition, the Senior HRBP will enable the business to attract, develop, and retain the industry's best talent and workforce by providing an inclusive and engaging environment where our employees have the opportunity, security, and relationships to achieve their best and live their healthiest and fullest lives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the HR Director, the incumbent will partner with a value stream in the business to deliver the HR Value Proposition to that client group:
1. Be a trusted coach to the leaders they support, particularly regarding their own performance, organizational effectiveness of their team, and any other areas where coaching support is beneficial.
2. Support business leaders in building the talent pipeline and ensuring their organizations have the capability to meet current and future business needs. Provide expert guidance and processes to support talent development and capability building.
3. Assist leaders in enhancing their organizational culture, improving employee engagement, and managing change effectively. Act as a guardian of the organizational culture.
4. Partner with business leaders to develop their strategy by diagnosing people strategy needs and developing solutions to enable the delivery of the business strategy.
5. Provide ER guidance and SME mentoring to leaders to proactively manage employee relations and respond to complex ER issues.
6. Support leaders in executing cyclical HR processes such as performance management and merit reviews.
EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES:
* Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline and/or membership of the Institute of the Chartered Personnel Management.
* 8 years of experience in an HRBP role.
