Role Overview
Lotus Care provides a range of residential support services to Children & Adults with intellectual disabilities in a homely and comfortable community setting. We are a growing company and looking for someone to join our team here in the head office in Birr, Co. Offaly.
We are looking for an Administrator to support the accounts & payroll team in day-to-day accounting activities and administration duties. This role is suited to someone with a high level of attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and to advance to the next level within a busy and growing company.
Location: Birr, Co. Offaly. (Hybrid)
Reporting to: CFO
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Accounts and Payroll department
Assisting with payroll processing and documentation
Data Entry to maintain accurate records
Assisting with reporting and internal support tasks
Managing the clocking/timekeeping system
Processing travel expenses and reporting to Revenue
Assisting with bi-weekly payroll
Reconciling cash and card payments
Completing supplier/creditor reconciliations
Monitoring and cross checking agency usage across the service
Responding to finance-related queries
General administrative and ad hoc duties
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience within an administrative role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail
Strong Communication Skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Exposure / Understanding of Payroll & Accounts processes
Desirable Requirements:
Finance experience, including payroll,
Knowledge of Xero & Brightpay
IPASS or Accounting Technician qualification
