Team Horizon is seeking an Engineering Project Specialist for a leading pharmaceutical company in Mayo. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely coordinating and leading projects related to Facility, Utility, and Equipment Projects. Key responsibilities include the on-time and within-budget delivery of Site Capital projects, ensuring compliance with EHS and cGMP requirements. Projects include building infrastructure such as Grade A, B, C, and D Cleanrooms, and associated HVAC and Utilities systems like Purified Water, Compressed Air, and Chilled and Cooling Waters systems.

What you will be doing:
* Complete established goals, prioritize project work, and coordinate activities across Utilities Services.
* Lead projects to meet Safety, Environmental, GMP, Production, and Financial objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards during project execution.
* Maintain effective cross-functional relationships with Operations Stakeholders and above-site teams (e.g., Meridian Drawing System).
* Review Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Equipment and Instrument Specifications, and related documentation.
* Manage Compliance wire administration for the tech services group.
* Extend and optimize training records, and facilitate onboarding of new hires.
* Generate reports on upcoming and overdue training.
* Manage DCC’s for Engineering SOP updates and support controlled drawings, including resolving IT issues, updating AutoCAD licenses, and assisting with access and audit preparations.
What you need to apply:
* Third-level qualification in Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or similar industries.
* Proven project management experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multi-functional team collaboration.
* Ability to work independently and within a team to meet project requirements across disciplines.
* Experience with H&S, HSA, and QA standards.
