Senior Program Manager Global Finance Transformation This role focuses on driving large-scale finance transformation initiatives, with an emphasis on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency across global accounting functions.
You will operate in a complex, international environment, combining program management, stakeholder engagement, and change management to deliver scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
The position requires strong collaboration with accounting, compliance, and technology teams, along with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver measurable impact.
Core Responsibilities Strategic Program Delivery Lead and execute transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability within finance operations.
Partner with accounting stakeholders to identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities Develop frameworks for launching and scaling new programs Evaluate automation initiatives, including cost-benefit and return on investment Deliver measurable improvements in financial close, compliance, and operational performance Program & Project Management Manage a portfolio of global initiatives from planning through execution.
Oversee multiple concurrent projects using both Agile and traditional methodologies Define scope, timelines, and resource requirements Prioritise workstreams and manage delivery against agreed objectives Track progress, manage risks, and ensure successful implementation Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Build strong relationships across diverse, global teams.
Partner with accounting, compliance, and technology stakeholders Facilitate alignment between business and technical teams Create a collaborative, unified working environment across functions Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership Process Improvement & Automation Drive standardisation and efficiency across finance operations.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and policies Promote automation and scalable solutions Support initiatives that accelerate financial close cycles Enhance consistency and compliance across global teams Data-Driven Decision Support Use insights to inform strategy and influence decision-making.
Develop financial models and business insights Provide recommendations to support leadership decisions Solve complex operational challenges with data-backed solutions Candidate Profile Experience & Skills: Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related analytical discipline Significant experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives Strong program or project management background (typically 8+ years) Proven track record in driving process improvements with measurable results Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Preferred: Experience identifying data quality issues and implementing corrective actions Ability to communicate insights to senior leadership Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g.
Lean, Six Sigma) Project management certifications (e.g.
