We are looking for an IT Project Coordinator to join a leading Irish food distribution company.
This is a long-term project position based in Rathkeale, Limerick.
Organisation The company is a family-owned Irish wholesale food supplier and distributor, partnering with trusted local and international producers.

As part of a company-wide modernisation initiative, they are now looking for an IT Project Coordinator to help lead and coordinate a major digital transformation project focused on improving efficiency, reducing manual processes, and introducing new integrated systems.
Responsibilities As an IT Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a multi-year transformation project that will streamline systems and operations across the organisation.
The position requires a proactive, organised, and technically skilled professional with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Your main responsibilities will include: Work towards a reduced paper trail and the elimination of manual input processes across all departments; Collaborate closely with the software provider and internal teams to plan, test, and implement IT system changes; Test, upgrade, and install Sales CRM and Online Ordering systems; Implement RF Scanning for goods inwards and warehouse stock picking, and train all staff on proper procedures; Oversee the transition from paper-based delivery dockets and sales invoices to fully electronic recording within the Van Distribution System; Support the automation of credit card receipt deductions and the posting of van receipts to the debtors ledger; Coordinate system testing, staff training, documentation, and feedback to ensure successful implementation; Liaise with management, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely delivery; Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
