Clare, in their search for a Financial Controller for a newly created role leading their finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with 3+ years’ PQE, whether you're ready to step into your first Financial Controller role or already have experience leading a small finance team, to play a key role in the next stage of the organisation’s growth.Role:Prepare and deliver accurate, timely monthly management accounts along with supporting financial reports.Manage the company’s cash flow, including the preparation of forecasts and related reports.Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on sales, margins, and profitability.Oversee payroll, employee benefits, VAT, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.Supervise and support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.Support the preparation of the annual budget, periodic updates, and rolling forecasts, including P&L and cash flow projections.Produce ad hoc financial reports and analysis as required by the Group Finance team.Oversee inventory management, product costing, and stock control processes to drive accuracy and informed decision-making.Prepare year-end statutory accounts and coordinate the external audit process.Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and other internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and provide commercial insight.Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all financial data within SAP.Candidate:Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience.People management experience is preferred but not essential.Experience with business systems, ideally SAP.Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to identifying improvements and efficiencies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.Proven ability to meet deadlines, deliver under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.Proficiency in advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capabilities.If you're interested in learning more, please don't hesitate to reach out via LinkedIn or email: nicholas@rocketsuite.io
