**The Role & What You Will Be Doing**The Microbiology Laboratory Technician III will be responsible for the day to day microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process, finished product and stability product samples and completing the relevant GMP documentation.
This position will also include report writing, investigation work and review of raw data/ batch paperwork:Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here's how the **Microbiology Technician Level III** role will make an impact:* Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, stability, and validation samples for bioburden (membrane filtration/direct method), endotoxin (Gel Clot/Kinetic assays), and sterility.
* Conduct environmental and personnel monitoring of classified areas, including sampling, observation, and analysis of results.
* Perform growth promotion and sterility testing of microbiological media used in the laboratory.
* Carry out media fill inspections and ensure compliance with aseptic process requirements.
* Identify microorganisms (bacteria and moulds) to genus and/or species level using appropriate microbiological methods.
* Support validation programs, including process, method, and equipment validations, and assist in related documentation and reporting.
* Prepare, review, and complete laboratory documentation, including raw data, batch paperwork, validation reports, and investigation reports (IRs).
* Maintain and assist with the microbiology laboratory calibration schedule and ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned by the Microbiology Manager or Team Leader.
* Provide training and guidance to new or existing team members, ensuring proper documentation of all training activities.
* Perform other related microbiology laboratory duties as assigned to support departmental goals and GMP compliance.
**About Your Skills & Experience**For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a Science related discipline (preferably Microbiology) and some experience within a Microbiology department of a pharmaceutical company.
* College level mathematics ability required.
* Ability to perform Sterility, Bioburden and Endotoxin testing.
* Must possess knowledge of the USP and EP Microbiological requirements.
* Ability to prepare and execute comprehensive investigation reports using Risk Analysis Tools.
* Must possess knowledge and have experience of working within an FDA/IMB regulated facility.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Effectively handle multiple tasks.
* Computer skills including Word, Excel.
