Job Title: Senior Receiving Inspection Engineer

The position of Senior Receiving Inspection Engineer is currently available within our organization. This role will be responsible for evaluating inspection methods, process improvements, sampling plans, and coordinating first-article component and fixture inspections.
Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers to develop and implement inspection methods, sampling plans, and related procedures. They will also provide primary input to the design, development, and implementation of fixtures for measuring component parts in Receiving Inspection.

Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for developing inspection processes for complex and high-volume component throughput, designing and developing methods to determine measurement accuracy and precision through testing and analysis, and creating measurement capability assessments (i.e., Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility).
They will also create test strategies, conduct process/equipment/measurement method qualifications and validations, and evaluate and determine cause for measurement variation. The successful candidate will lead tasks associated with measurement variations, be responsible for OOS events, CAPAs, NCMRs, and Change Order, and establish and maintain communication to key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

* Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or equivalent industry experience.

* Mastery of engineering software tools for CAD (SolidWorks preferred), engineering analysis, and statistical analysis (e.g., Minitab) and Microsoft Office Products is desirable.
">
* Proficiency with basic statistical analysis (normality, standard deviation, variance, and comparison of data groups) including Gage R&R and test method validations.
">
* Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing knowledge and ability to read mechanical drawings.
">
* Ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, transfer technology, and execute projects in an R&D and GMP manufacturing environment.

* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and written and verbal communication skills.
