Key Role in Paediatric Care
Our multidisciplinary team is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to lead specialist assessment, intervention, and management of swallowing and communication needs for children admitted to the acute service.
Responsibilities
* Assess and manage swallowing and communication difficulties in paediatric inpatients
* Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to deliver safe, evidence-based care
* Provide clinical supervision and support to junior SLTs as appropriate
* Contribute to service development initiatives within the paediatric SLT service
Successful applicants will have:
* CORU registration
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in paediatric dysphagia
* Ability to work autonomously in a busy acute care setting
* Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and team-working skills
