Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to manage core accounting operations like accounts payable, payroll, and end-of-month/end-of-quarter reporting. The successful candidate will execute day-to-day functions effectively, supporting growth scaling with business expansion.
* Process high volumes of supplier invoicing & statements for accounts payable.
* Reconcile invoices against POs & payment certs.
* Maintain PRSI, PAYE, VAT, and RCT compliance, including expense management.
* Process weekly & monthly wages in-house.
* Perform bank reconciliations.
* Prepare month-end & quarterly processes.
* Manage supplier contacts & track project expenses.
* Maintain accurate expense records.
* Implement process improvements & support business simplifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar).
* 5+ years' experience in busy offices handling high-volume accounts payable transactions.
* Communicate financial information to stakeholders.
* Demonstrable payroll processing experience.
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
* Change management & procedure implementation.
* Attention to detail & ability to work independently.
* Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Accounting software).
