Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure high-quality, person-centred residential services through strategic leadership.
* Maintain full compliance with HIQA regulations and the Health Act 2007.
* Develop policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with regulatory requirements.
* Lead robust safeguarding measures and risk management strategy.
* Conduct regular audits, self-assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.

We require a dedicated leader to foster a supportive environment enhancing residents' well-being and independence. As Person in Charge (PIC), you will oversee compliance with HIQA regulations and lead the staff team to deliver high-quality care.


Responsibilities Include:

* Oversight of Individualised Care Plans (ICPs) to meet residents' unique needs.
* Promotion of an inclusive, rights-based approach ensuring resident involvement in decision-making.
* Fostering a therapeutic environment supporting residents with ASD and ID.
* Ensuring trauma-informed supports promoting well-being, dignity, and quality of life.
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals.


Requirements:

* A Level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care, Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in residential or disability service.
* In-depth knowledge of HIQA regulations, the Health Act 2007, and disability service standards.
* Experience in budget management, staff leadership, and strategic planning.
* Training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), crisis intervention, and safeguarding is an advantage.
