Job Overview

The Legal Secretary position involves providing administrative support to lawyers within Family Law or Litigation departments. Key responsibilities include assisting with case preparation and research, drafting and proofreading legal documents, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

* Primary Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with lawyers to prepare cases for court proceedings.
* Draft and review various legal documents, including court filings and correspondence.
* Ensure the integrity of files and records, maintaining up-to-date information as necessary.
* Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless workflow.


Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a legal secretary. A strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures is essential, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

* Essential Skills:
* Strong knowledge of legal documentation and filing procedures.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
