The Glashaus Hotel is currently seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Food and Beverage Attendant to join our friendly and dynamic team on a part time basis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Ensure customer and guests expectations are exceeded Seat and greet all guests entering the Restaurant and Bar in a courteous and efficient manner Ensure food and beverages are served in accordance with standard operating procedures Monitor food presentation and flow of service Carry out day-to-day duties such as cleaning, organising and maintaining all food and beverage areas ensuring the property is presentable at all times Demonstrate a complete knowledge of menu items Demonstrate a complete knowledge of wine and beverage list, including cocktails and promote the use of suggestive sell to guests Ensure guest complaints are resolved in a prompt and efficient manner and brought to the attention of the manager on duty Ensure customer queries are dealt with and forwarded to the relevant party Work to maximise guest service and increase positive feedback Work with management to ensure food and beverage areas are well maintained Practice effective stock control in accordance with set guidelines Ensure all operational checks for the bar are completed on an hourly, daily or weekly basis as set out by management Skills, Experience and Qualifications Prior experience in a Food and Beverage related discipline would be advantageous but not essential Allergen awareness Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team Excellent communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to work in a fast paced multitasking environment Keen interest in and a good working knowledge of drinks, cocktails, wine and food Benefits Free on-site parking Subsidised meals while on duty Discounted rates at Comer Group Ireland managed hotels Discounted rates at Comer Group Ireland managed spa and leisure facilities Discounted rates at Comer Group Ireland restaurants Due to the large number of applications for this role only successful candidates will be contacted.
