Purpose of the role: RSM have a new opportunity for a dynamic finance professional to join our Core Functions team.
The successful candidate will provide financial and commercial analysis and insights to the firm's leadership team.
Ideally, candidates will have at least 2 years PQE, be commercially focused, understand the professional services environment and have a strong interest in using technology to improve work processes.

Responsibilities
Lead the month end process to deliver accurate management accounts and required reports within strict deadlines.
Report variances to projections, provide detailed revenue and expense analysis, and act as a key contact for business units on related queries.
Contribute to financial reporting by supporting the preparation of various components required.
Support the business partnering process with chargeable business units to embed strong financial well-being across the firm.
Contribute to the firm's compliance agenda, including leading the statutory financial audit; plan and coordinate the audit, prepare statutory accounts, and manage the audit with external auditors with support from the wider finance team and firm leadership.
Work with the accounts team to ensure the smooth running of accounts payable.
Represent the finance team on cross-functional project teams and deliver business transformation projects across the Firm.
Collaborate with the wider finance team to deliver the overall finance strategy and annual action plan.
Support delivery of ad-hoc finance and business operations initiatives and projects.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE
Experience in a professional services environment; practice management systems are an advantage
Team player with initiative, accountability and a passion for what they do
Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) and an interest in using technology to improve internal processes
Commercially focused with accurate financial forecasting skills
Ability to collaborate with business unit leaders and other professionals across the firm
Strong communication, collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills
