Overview
Position: Care Assistant (Disability Services) at Autism Initiatives Ireland. 39 hours per week. Location: Stillorgan, Dublin South. Contract type: Permanent Full-time. This is an external advertisement on behalf of a publicly funded organisation. Terms and conditions may differ from the HSE’s terms and conditions.
Responsibilities
* Deliver support according to the person’s PCP and care plan.
* Place the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities.
* Programme planning and development of Person Centred Plans (PCPs).
* Provide person-centred support with awareness of the Key Worker/Support Worker role and philosophy, including support to people with complex needs.
* Support worker duties performed with initiative and professional communication in fluent English.
Qualifications
* A full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential (e.g. health, community, care sector).
* Genuine passion for providing person-centred support.
* Full, clean driving licence is essential.
