As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team as a Senior Floor Supervisor.
Please note this is a 24 month fixed term contract.
What you’ll be doing:
Operations:
Ensure full evening replenishment is fully executed
Ensure all sections are merchandised to highest standard
Execute promotions in line with promotional guidelines & on shelf availability target
Working in partnership with Re-order team to ensure correct stock levels at all times and taking responsibility for specific orders where relevant.
Investigate and strive to eliminate all service failures attributed to replenishment on a daily basis
Driving sales & AP to support floor manager and branch sales/profit targets
Wholesale Excellence Standards and KPIs to include but not limited to:
Must stock/average stock availability
On Shelf availability / SEL Accuracy
General Housekeeping standards / Store/QA audits
Service Excellence:
Ensure excellent Customer service is provided to all customers
Proactively recruit and retain customers and maximise all upselling opportunities
Quality Standard:
Act on concerns raised by the Quality Assurance team. Ensure team adheres to health and safety rules
Follow process to measure and minimise shrinkage of stock and damages.
Control returns and minimise waste
Work with the Floor Manager to identify and address the training and development needs of staff
People Management:
Effective communication throughout team. Morale and motivation of team
Effective supervision of all direct reports, including holiday requests, absence management, performance and timekeeping issues
Input into the management of the staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
Supervision of stock control and stock rotation
Manage timely team performance reviews
What we’re looking for:
Experience, Skills and Education:
Previous sales / customer service experience
Customer-focused with a high attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure
PC Skills
Previous experience in a Wholesale and Retail environment
Previous People Management experience desirable
