Our client is a leading international Biotechnology company with a state-of-the-art aseptic manufacturing facility in Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin.
The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.
Opportunities
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Ireland's leading aseptic manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
1. Testing of in-process, stability, and finished product samples (e.g., HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF analytical testing, characterization, and sample/data management).
2. Review and authorization of lab data.
3. Support analytical technical transfer activities, testing reports, and documentation.
4. Document review and updates as required.
5. Equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
6. Method validation and verification.
7. Training of QC Chemistry Laboratory colleagues.
8. Laboratory investigation support.
9. Laboratory housekeeping and maintaining GMP standards.
10. Assisting in regulatory audits.
Requirements
* Hold a third-level qualification (Degree/Diploma) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a similar scientific subject.
* At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment.
* Experience in executing HPLC.
* Knowledge of software such as LIMS/LMES and Empower is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
* Strong technical writing skills.
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated with troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Experience with analytical techniques like CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF is a plus.
Interview Preparation
Be prepared to discuss handling high-volume, pressurized environments and scheduling strategies.
Package & Working Conditions
* Onsite: 5 days a week, core hours 08:30-17:00.
* Remote work is limited and typically reserved for experienced staff, mainly for activities like data review.
