Job Title:
A Quality Manager position has become available in our company.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to maintaining roads across Ireland.
The role is based in Shannon, Ireland and offers the chance to work on various projects including road construction and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and maintain our Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Collaborate with the Safety Manager and other departments to ensure that all processes are running smoothly in accordance with our IMS.
* Maintain current and future ISO standards.
* Broaden our systems and improve efficiency.
* Prepare and submit regular reports to stakeholders.
* Gather and control data to facilitate report preparation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our quality systems, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, and 55001 Asset Management.
They will work closely with the Safety Manager and other departments to ensure that all processes are working and recording in accordance with our Integrated Management System (IMS).
We require the ideal candidate to have a level eight qualification in Civil Engineering or a similar field, along with experience in road network maintenance contracts or projects.
Candidates should also possess strong computer literacy skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A level eight qualification recognised by the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETEC) in Civil Engineering, or other equivalent professional qualification.
* Membership of a recognised industry body (Engineers Ireland, Institute of Asphalt Technology, Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation etc)
* Experience in road network maintenance contracts or projects with similar services and activities- to this specific contract.
* Manager's experience in Quality Systems.
* Experience in Data Management and Controls.
* Experience of Environmental Controls and systems.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrable knowledge of TII road standards and specifications.
* High level of computer literacy (MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint)
* Industry recognised safety-training standard for level of post (PSCS and PSDP Knowledge/Training)
