My client is a small Accountancy practice based in Galway.
They are looking for an Audit Senior/ Assistant Manager to join the team.
Responsibilities: Lead in the planning, managing, and executing of Audit engagements in an efficient, effective, and timely manner.
Preparation of Financial Statements for Audit, Ltd Companies, Sole Traders & Partnerships.
Supervise and train junior members of the team to ensure standards are maintained.
Assume responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of clients Researching and resolving technical queries from clients.
Manage work in progress and billings as part of working capital management.
Identifying client needs and new business opportunities within client organisations.
Develop and grow the firms client portfolio.
Partake in client fee negotiation.
Maintain a high quality of work and consistently adhere to relevant professional standards.
You will have the following skills/experiences: ACA / ACCA qualified.
Strong technical skills (FRS102 / IFRS).
Strong audit experience (2 years PQE).
RI would be beneficial but not a necessity.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage junior staff under tight deadlines whilst maintain standards.
Ability to make professional judgements based on findings.
Portfolio management experience.
Attention to detail and analytical assessment.
Experience working as part of a team supporting others.
Commercial awareness.
Enthusiasm to drive change or improve the operating environment including embracing new technology when appropriate.
Team player with strong communication skills.
